what is the chance of getting herpes from a female giving a male oral sex? and possibly touching his penis to her vagina, but not going inside
i was with a girl about 3 weeks ago, she gave me oral, but we didnt have sex. she wanted to so she kept trying to sit on my penis, and i woke up today not feeling well, i went to the ER and they said from my symptoms, it COULD be early herpes, so they gave me a prescription and said if i start seeing
“clear blisters”
to fill the script n start taking it
and i found out the girl just told me today, (that helps)
that she had a bacterial infection, in her vagina. now i didn’t put it in, but she kept trying to sit on me, so it may of swiped her outer vagina, what is the chance that could of given me herpes?
Any close contact to her infected area will infect you.
So before knowing for sure, did your penis actually touch her vagina?
Also, aare you sure she has herepes? A bacterial infection in the vagina could be many things, like a UTI, which she will get rid of easily with some antibiotics from the doctor.

If she has it and your genital areas touched then she can give it to you. She may also have it but not being having an outbreak so there are no signs of it but she can still give it to you.

Touching like that without penetration CAN cause herpes, but I don’t think that would be a likely cause.
Oral sex, however, is high risk for transmitting herpes. About 70% of adult have oral herpes, which can be transferred to a partner’s genitals during unprotected oral sex. A ‘cold sore’ does not need to be present at the time.
I caught genital herpes through oral sex - it is a very common transmission route.
